Deep ruby in color, with punch, muscle, and intensity is the 2002 Pinot Noir Little Hill Vineyard. Although it possesses more tannin and muscle than its siblings, it is well-balanced as well as impressively sumptuous. (RP)
*** Outstanding *** Aromatically, this is almost a blend of the West Block and Three Corners with an elegant nose of violets, tea and cola that is followed by wonderfully intense medium full flavors that are focused, sweet and pure yet possess a seductive roundness to them as the moderately evident tannins are supple and integrated. This finishes with excellent punch and a slight edge to it, which will probably round off with bottle age. Recommended. Drink 2011+.
Good deep red, with ruby highlights. Sexy aromas of raspberry, sandalwood and flowers; oaky but not overly so. Then juicy and penetrating, with lively flavors of red berries, minerals and sweet oak, nicely framed by firm acidity. Classy, suave pinot noir, with a silky texture and plenty of fruit for its new oak component. Finishes long and smooth.
