92 Points and Two Stars from the Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wines: "Fully ripened and well-focused on Cabernet's curranty side, this generous bottling exhibits complexing scents of mint, loam and oaky richness as it airs. It is full in weight and a touch fleshy in texture at entry and boasts deep, ripe currant and dried cherry flavors at its heart. An edge of heat in the finish is amply offset by the wine's lengthy aftertaste and will be dispensed by service with savory roasted meats. Moreover, a few years of bottle age should be the first order of business." (04/07) This 2003 Cabernet is a gorgeous dark ruby colored wine which shows off lovely aromatics of ripe black cherry and berry like fruit. The nose is layered with cedar and spice and a caramel toasty note coming from an assortment of French oak barrels. Flavors match the aromas with blackberry and a cherry character. The mouthfeel is classic Paradigm; very silky and round with beautiful structure that adds up to a wine you can enjoy now but is built to last. This vineyard has been a very consistent producer of balanced wines.
