A slow-fermented muscat (with 10% ottonel) from Zind Humbrecht's Goldert vineyard, where the rich, calcareous marl soil is perfect for producing structured, long lasting muscats. Already displaying amazingly powerful aromatics, the wine mixes minerality with fresh exotic fruits. The palate is firm with 2005's characteristic bright acidity, making it hard to believe the wine has 16g/l of residual sugar. The wine will continue to open up with a little cellaring.
