*Good Value, Two Stars* This one stands clearly apart from the rest of its kin in that it is a broader, more obviously ripened and somewhat viscous, fuller-bodied wine as opposed its slightly more measured and brighter siblings. It does, however, share in the very deep and generous fruit that marks every one of the Williams Selyem 2004s, and, in this wine, that fruit is a bit riper, a bit more black-cherry-like and carries a mild suggestion of milk chocolate along with it. Clearly on the open and obvious side, the wine has some spine to go with all of its flesh ...
Smooth black raspberry flavors create a ripe and lasting impression in this Pinot Noir. The acidity has a tart red apple skin character, tied into the silky tannin. Serve it with duck.
Tart but super-tasty, this wine has cola, red cherry pie, pomegranate and cinnamon spice flavors wrapped into a silky, crisp mouthfeel. It’s totally dry and modest in alcohol, showing real elegance and finesse.
