George Wine Company is a one-man show. Whether it's tending vineyards, making wine, selling wine or writing checks, George does it. A proper New York bred overachiever and former bond trader, George now devotes himself to the service of great pinot noir. The bulk of George's 500-case production comes from Martinelli's Nuptial Vineyard. A classic Russian River pinot, the wine is medium-dark in color with a plush cherry cola flavor. With such a small amount of wine made and much of it going to the nation's top restaurants including Healdsburg's own Cyrus, New York's BLT empire and Gordon Ramsey at the London, and Wolfgang Puck's Los Angeles homage to steak, CUT, don't miss your chance to get a bottle of this highly sought after wine.
