91 points from Wine Spectator: "Smooth and ripe, with a meaty edge to the blackberry and cherry flavors, turning toward dark chocolate as the finish lingers generously. Best from 2009 through 2014." (07/08) A refreshing gem from the Bergström family, blending fruit from a number of Oregon appellations, including their own, Shea, Temperance Hill and Palmer Creek. A deep, ruby-hued wine with a bright, youthful nose of red cherries and currants punctuated by baking spices and oaky vanillin. Generous cherry notes on the palate with fine tannins and good acid. Decant now or hold for a year or so.
