*Barrel Sample* If you're looking for great, ripe black currant fruits, this is where to come. The wine is full and hugely fruity, but it still manages a good Bordeaux sense of proportion. (RV)
Smokiness dominates the nose at the moment but there’s still evidence of fresh and aromatic cassis underneath. Rich and yet juicy. A slightly leafy aftertaste may not to be everyone’s taste but it does finish fresh. (JH)
The 2005 Coufran is much more concentrated than normal, with a big, rich, black cherry, earthy, spicy mouthfeel. Medium-bodied, with a long, heady power and richness, this is a seriously endowed, much bigger than usual Coufran to drink over the next decade or more. (RP)
Has crushed blackberry, licorice and light toasty oak on the nose. Full-bodied, with polished tannins and focused blackberry and currant on the palate, with a hint of vanilla and spices. Made mostly from Merlot. (JS)

Smooth elegant rendition of Medoc. The 2005 is ready to drink and can only improve with time.

This is a very fruity and delicious merlot based wine. Medium bodied and very nice for the price point.
