Shows attractive blackberry and spice character, with hints of meat and toasty oak. Medium- to full-bodied, with velvety tannins and a chewy finish. Best after 2013.
A structured, muscular Margaux, the 2005 Siran exhibits scents of minerals, earth, black currants, and incense. Meaty and rich, it is ideal for drinking between 2008-2018.
Curiously sweet, almost American oak on the nose and then supply fruit on the palate with some exotic, heady lily-like aromas. Dry finish but not exaggeratedly so.
Good deep red-ruby. Liqueur-like black raspberry and sweet oak on the ripe nose. Rich and classically dry, with flavors of currant, dark chocolate and licorice. I still find the faint green streak I detected last spring but elevage has brought more fat and depth of fruit without loss of freshness. Finishes with good length.
