The 2004 Pinot Noir Reuling Vineyard reveals the floral, blueberry, and raspberry-scented perfume of a sublime Richebourg or Grands Echezeaux. It possesses sweet plum and flower characteristics, fabulous body, a terrific texture, and a long, pure finish. Wow... this stunning Pinot Noir could easily have been made at Burgundy’s most famous domaine!
Cooler aromas of black cherry, peat and earth, with an enticing violet topnote. Wonderfully sweet but restrained. A bit less blue fruit in character than the UV Vineyard bottling. Finishes chewy and firm, with suave tannins. This is reportedly from a Romanee-Conti clone, and in fact the aromas and flavors are rather Vosne-like.
Delicious, smooth and creamy, with rich, fleshy spice, black cherry, raspberry and creamy oak. Finishes with a burst of blueberry, anise, sage and a hint of nutmeg from oak.
