Nose is predominantly honey and apricot, no sharpness at all. Palate is flavors of burnt caramel and spices, with a very smooth prominent finish (and aftertaste) of red grape/strawberry/raspberry. The finish is as mellow as some very aged single malts, which I think is pretty remarkable for such a young brandy. The price makes me think there's something to that meme going around lately that cognac is highly overrated, leading to premium prices for an often mediocre product.
