An elegant, pure and airy nose combines notes of citrus peel, soft yeast and plenty of green apple, pear and petrol scents. There is excellent intensity to the crisp, intense and focused flavors that terminate in a very dry and linear finish. As is almost always the case with Vilmart wines, the supporting effervescence is quite fine and overall, this could be enjoyed young or easily held for another 5 to 7 years depending on your preferences.
Vilmart's NV Brut Grand Cellier is pure class. A slight hint of oak frames the stone fruit, brioche, spice, smoke and floral notes. Creamy, open-knit and inviting, the Grand Cellier is super-expressive today. There is no better Champagne with which to discover the wines of Vilmart, one of Champagne's reference-point houses.
