A gorgeous Pinot Noir for drinking over the next few years. It's dry and silky, with ripe raspberry, cherry and cola flavors finished with plenty of clove, cinnamon and white pepper spice. There's an earthy, mushroomy note that grounds it.
Deep red. Expressive aromas of raspberry, woodsmoke, potpourri and white pepper. Intensely flavored but light on its feet, with a sappy quality and good spicy lift to its red berry flavors. Very pinot in its medium-bodied spicy, floral style. Finishes with gentle tannins and lingering sweetness. Drinks very well now. (ST)
The 2009 Pinot Noir Sonoma County is a friendly, accessible wine loaded with dark red berries. This entry-level Pinot is ideally enjoyed over the next 2-3 years, while the fruit remains vibrant. (AG)
