Located smack dab in the heart of the Pays d'Auge Domaine le Pere Jules was first created by none other than Jules himself in 1919. Since then the simple tradition of making cider dedicated to terroir and tradition. Everything is hand harvested and non-pasteurized which is the way it has been done in Normandy for centuries. Rich ripe apples rounded out by honey and energized with undertones of white flowers. Subtle earthiness with just a hint of apple skin tannin and a bright finish. Really nice on its own as an aperitif or even with grilled chicken, cheeses. Or, go traditional and have it with crepes.
