Founded by brewer Gabe Fletcher, Anchorage Brewing Company is one of the newest breweries to open in Alaska. Specializing in barrel fermentation with brettanomyces and souring cultures, they blur the lines between new and old styles of beer and brewing procedures. They take extreme steps to produce some of the most unique beers ever made. This saison is brewed with Motueka hops, fermented in French oak foudres with both saison yeast and brettanomyces. It's dry hopped with more Motueka hops, ages on hibiscus and then re-fermented in the bottle for natural carbonation. It's glorious.
