It shows a nice sense of polish and is complete without being big and bold, and it will make a fine foil with dishes ranging from seared scallops to a platter of delicate sand dabs.
This carries a healthy ripeness, the rich fruit brightening with aromas of white flowers and pear skin. It’s not particularly complex, but it’s very well balanced, focused squarely on fruit rather than oak or lees.
