It's hard to quantify Bandol Blanc because so little of it is made that few people have a reference point but I can think of no better benchmark than this gorgeous white from Agnes Cade at Chateau de la Noblesse. I love her reds and the rose but this white blew me away. Oily textured but still loaded with beautiful acidity, this is a wine of point and counter-point. Lemon, pineapple, dried mango and weight stones linger on the palate. The drive of acidity keeps it focused and lift the weight of the wine. Just delicious!
