From sandy soils in Lodi, the dry-farmed, directly planted on its own roots 2013 Zinfandel Kirschenmann Vineyard includes dollops of Mondeuse and Carignane in the blend. Raspberries, briery mountain fruits, and a hint of strawberries along with sandy, loamy soil, pepper and spice notes are present in this medium-bodied Zinfandel. (RP)
The 2013 Zinfandel Kirschenmann Vineyard is another super-expressive wine. Dark red and blue stone fruits, spices and leather blossom in the glass.
