The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa, which is 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Petit Verdot, 6% Merlot, and 3% Syrah, shows a dense ruby/purple color, super concentration, chocolate, a touch of oak and a medium to full-bodied impressively concentrated style. It’s approachable now, but perhaps will be better in 4-5 years and last 20. Hall has quickly become one of the great superstars in the Napa Valley firmament. 92+ points. (RP)
Hall's Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley is dark, powerful and succulent. Black cherry, mocha, spice and leather all flesh out in an open-knit, layered Cabernet that captures the essence of the year. Drink this fleshy, inviting Cabernet Sauvignon over the near term, while the fruit remains vibrant. The Napa Valley Cabernet emerges mostly from a site in Pope Valley. (AG)
