This is a bit of an oddball of a wine, but I was completely swept up in its intriguing complexity. A touch wild with a hint of rusticity, sure. Bordering on natural, yes. For some this might be a deal breaker, but the Casa Beade walks that tight rope, keeping it all together for a wonderfully complex and gastronomic wine. All you need is a good plate of charcuterie and some Manchego cheese.
