The Petroni rouge is such a remarkably friendly introduction to the exciting reds of Corsica with its brambly, blackberry fruit, cool herbal tones and stony mineral tones. It has a sweet opening note but finishes dry, with supple tannins. It has an almost Italian flare to it. Gorgeous with charcuterie, spicy sausage and funky cheeses. But don't leave out a nice veal chop or rib-eye steak.
