Such a good wine. Flesh, spice, structure and length. Pretty aromas and fruits, fun and inviting, turn seriously savoury and sinewy as the flavour drives through the palate. Elegant and majestic at once.
What a burst of fresh, vibrant and bramby fruit this is. Really impressive raspberry and blueberry fruits that smell so deiciously sweet and ripe. The palate has an elegant structural frame with a core of juicy, concentrated raspberry and blueberry fruit flavors. Balanced superbly, super fresh and about as pure as you can get.
Pale ruby/purple, the 2014 GR/M Co-Ferment is a Grenache Mataro blend that has a beautiful nose of roses, lavender, red cherries and raspberries with accents of orange peel and earth. Medium to full-bodied, the soft, silky and elegant palate is harmonious and finishes long. (LPB)
Vivid ruby-red. Ripe dark berries, licorice, woodsmoke and candied flowers on the deeply perfumed nose. Concentrated but lively as well, with juicy acidity providing lift and focus to fresh blackberry and cassis flavors. The long, sappy finish features slow-building tannins, a hint of bitter chocolate and lingering smokiness. (JR)
