Produced by Christian Dauriac, proprietor of St-Emilion property, Château Destieux, Château La Clemence is produced from a five-hectare vineyard planted to 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc. With such a small vineyard area and with yields are severely restricted to around 20 hectolitres per hectare, production from this estate is miniscule. The wines are vinified and matured in 100% new oak barriques.
