Brewed in downtown Los Angeles! From the brewer: "We brewed this Imperial Black Saison with a new hybrid yeast strain, genetically different from traditional French & Belgium strains so you’ll find slightly different yeast characteristics than typically found in a traditional Saison. We also added a bit of oats to the grain bill, giving it a softer mouthfeel. The Red Wine Barrels give a bit of aroma on the nose, with chocolate, coffee, and peppery spice. On the palate you will get a complex mix of banana, raisin, cacao and espresso. This is one complex sipper that will make you say 'DAAANNNGGGG!'"
