The only 2014 presented, the inky-colored 2014 Crozes Hermitage Cuvee Christophe offers an outstanding bouquet of cassis, wood spice, licorice and toasted bread in a medium-bodied, rich, impressively concentrated package. It has notable tannin that will need a year or so to integrate, and it's certainly one of the most successful wines in the vintage from Crozes Hermitage. (JD)
Inviting, with warm ganache and steeped plum and blackberry aromas and flavors, backed by espresso and warm fruitcake notes on the finish. A touch amped-up in style but will have fans for sure. (JM)
