Bright, mineral, perfumed nose, with aromas of lime, ripe grapefruit, and talc. Good attack, lean and precise, initially skinny but then fills out on the palate. Concentrated, citric, and long.
A minerally expression drives this sleek white, whose flavors evoke white peach, white flowers and citrus oil. Light-bodied and intense, with fine length. Drink now through 2020.
Here the equally cool nose is compositionally similar to that of the Bourgogne but with notably better complexity. There is also much better mid-palate density and volume to the attractively textured medium-bodied flavors that possess a caressing mouth feel before culminating in a sneaky long finale. This is worth checking out provided you can allow it a few years of cellar time to develop a bit more overall depth. *Outstanding*
Racy nose. Restrained but very confident. Bone dry and this convinces one that it will continue to develop. Builds well towards a fine, intriguing finish. (JR)
Very pale, green-tinged yellow. Alluring aromas of pear and white flowers. A lovely racy village wine with nicely integrated acidity framing the brisk lemon and pear flavors. Finishes vibrant and persistent. Give this a year or two in the cellar. (ST)
