One of New Zealand's top dry Rieslings, the 2015 F-Series Old Vine Riesling comes from the estate's oldest vines. It's fermented in a combination of stainless steel and neutral barrels and remains on lees for almost a year, giving it plenty of time to develop a creamy, rich mid-palate. The closest Old World analogue might be Alsace, as it does have some petrol/paraffin aromas, but it also has some peachy-ripe fruit and lingering citrus on the finish. (JC)
