Jean Arthaud is a part of the protected Creme de Framboise de Bourgogne IGP appellation, which means it can only be produced in Burgundy using fruits grown within the region. The fruit is steeped for a five week maceration time in 192 proof alcohol, then filtered and sweetened with beet sugar before bottling.
