Very much showing the richness and firm structure that are hallmarks of the 2015 Talley Chardonnays, this one from Rosemary’s Vineyard is a full-bodied working that exhibits fine fruity concentration along with a generous measure of oak. It smells of fresh apples, toast and cream and follows suit in the mouth where undisguised acidity makes an appearance, and, if arguably a touch cramped and hard at the finish just now, it has the right pieces in place to expand and unfold if allowed a year or two of additional cellar time.
