Plenty of exuberant fruit jumps from the glass of the 2014 Chardonnay Carneros. This wine was barrel-fermented in 34% new French oak, the rest in neutral wood, and all aged for nine months prior to bottling. It is a big, rich, exuberant style of Chardonnay - light gold in color, with nice pineapple and honeysuckle, good purity and a broad texture in the mouth without being heavy. (RP)
