The 2010 Brunello di Montalcino sees a classic winemaking formula of 12 months in stainless steel, 36 months in large Slavonian oak casks and 12 months in bottle. It is that steady care, executed over five years, that gives this wine its smooth and tempered personality. The Brunello shows power and muscle with red fruit aromas, spice, dark smoke and cured meat. This is a wine with wide shoulders and a large frame.
