Biodynamically grown estate Zwiegelt, wild fermented in neutral oak and small tanks. Quite full-bodied for the varietal, dark fruit, damp earth, underbrush. This has a brambly character that reminds me of Carignane from the Southern Rhone. The middle is ripe, crunchy and filled with smoky granite laced red and blue fruit. There is tons of personality in this dark, snappy and crisp wine.
