#42 on WS Top 100 Wines of 2017 - Firm and focused, with cinnamon notes floating around red berry and floral flavors, finishing with gentle persistence against lively acidity and fine tannins. Best from 2018 through 2022.
Pale to medium ruby-purple, the 2014 Pinot Noir Dopp Creek has a very expressive nose of red currant jelly, raspberry preserves and mulberries with hints of violets, Marmite toast, truffles and garrigue. Medium to full-bodied, it fills the mouth with generous red berry preserves and earthy flavor layers with a solid frame of velvety tannins and a lively backbone, finishing long with an herbal lift.
