This Mourvedre based Rosé is crafted from fifty year old vines in Bandol, and is exceedingly rich and lush, yet dry, with aromas of honeyed apricot, vanilla and almond. This Rosé is no casual Summer sipper. Rather, it is is unique as it is deliciously spicy and powerful, having been aged in 350 liter French oak barrels. If you are looking for a special splurge of a Rosé, the 2014 Chateau Vannieres Patience De Vannieres is your best bet.
