Rey Campero typically uses copper pots, but the Master Mezcalero Romulo Sanchez Parada is a busy body so he built this clay pot to try something new. This is a blend of Espadin and Pulquero (Agave Salmiana), this wild agave known here as "The Green Giant" is a staple of the gardens across California, but originated in central and southern Mexico. It take between 15 and 25 years to mature and grow to nearly 12 feet across. This special mezcal was distilled in 2014 and rested in glass until now. This is a single production and will not be available again. Fewer than 100 Bottle for California.
