Another red with pretty concentration and depth of fruit. Full body, firm tannins and a fresh finish. Best ever from here?
The 2014 Belle Coline is plump, juicy and flat-out delicious. A dollop of Malbec adds lift and midpalate depth to the dark cherry and plum flavors. Smoke, licorice, leather and dark spices meld into the resonant, inviting finish. (AG)
While this young wine is dry now, it has good potential with rich fruits developing well. Dark and firm at the moment, it will become a generous rounded wine as it ages. The 30-acre Etienne Barre and Christophe Reboul Salze estate is managed by the Stephane Derenoncourt team. Drink from 2019. (RV)
Fresh, with damson plum and sanguine notes, followed by a light incense hint through the finish. Elegant. (Web Only—2015)
