This easy-to-like wine hits all the Pinot markers in top form from its medium-ripe red cherry and dried flower first nose to the hints of spice in its creamy oak and the supple, slightly velvety texture to its entry palatal impressions. It has great continuity across the palate, with no fade at any point, and its length and balance are spot on. If it lacks overwhelming drama, it nonetheless delivers so very much to enjoy, and will do for some years to come, that it must be seen as far more than 'reliable.' It is a tasty bargain. *Good Value*
Pale to medium ruby-purple colored, the 2015 Pinot Noir Twelve Clones has a beautiful kirsch, cranberries and potpourri-scented nose with touches of dried herbs and red loam. Medium-bodied, with mouthfilling red berry and herbal flavors, it has a chewy frame and refreshing finish. (LPB)
