Blackcurrants, blackberry, spring flowers and pen ink, in a full-bodied, in-your-face and rather flamboyant, dramatic style, are all part of its appeal and personality. Drink it over the next 15-20 years. I first tasted wine from the McGah Family Vineyard that was made by Russell Bevan, who has the knack for finding relatively unknown and obscure, but ultimately terroir treasures in Cabernet Sauvignon.
