The Bedouet family's history in the region dates back to the 1890's when the estate was created by grandfather, Henri. Grandson, Michel took possession and expanded the holdings when he assumed the reins in 1990. In 2010, he began the conversion to organic farming. The vines for the Clos des Grands Primos are planted on a mix of gneiss, mica and schist soils creating the classic flavor profile of Muscadet. Notes of grapefruit, salted apples, melon and flint expand on the nose and crisp acidity on the palate makes for one of our best Muscadets in the store right now.

The Clos Des Grands Primos is a must for anyone who loves clean, unoaked, racy white wine at an everyday price. I love the vivacious zip and oyster shell complexity of this surprisingly long finishing wine. This makes a great glass to sip on after work, and is perfect for seafood!
