The 2014 Meursault 1er Cru le Porusot will be the last vintage with the parcel of old vines in Le Porusot (the next vintage will be just the parcel in Porusots Dessous). It has a refined bouquet with touches of wild mint and yellow flower infusing the citrus fruit. The palate is very refined, very charming with a keen line of acidity and hints of tropical fruit; but again, it's the mineral tension, the nervosité on the finish that really marks this wine. (NM)
Bright, light yellow. Stone fruits, flowers and a whiff of oak on the nose. Dense, fine-grained and energetic; quite dry and classic but the wine's oak element is currently suppressing its fruit. Finishes a bit phenolic and long. (ST)
