Château Musar is Lebanon's most famous producer. The winery does not make rosé every vintage, because the winemaker (the late Serge Hochar) sought very specific characteristics from the grapes he used to create a fine, delicate and elegant rosé. Chateau Musar’s Jeune wines are made from low-yielding Bekaa Valley vines grown at around 1,000 metres above sea level. The Rose is a blend of 80% Cinsault and 20% Mourvedre and would give many a Provencal styled rose a run for their money.
