The Faiveley family has been in the Burgundy business for seven generations dating back to 1825. Today one of the largest owners in Burgundy, Faiveley's holdings spread throughout the Cote de Nuits down to the Cote Chalonnaise. They are known for producing pure and charming wines that emphasize fruit, elegance and polish. The wines consistently receive high ratings from the likes of Burghound and Wine Spectator, and in an across-the-board quality vintage like 1990 the Grand Cru Bonnes Mares will be a stand out wine for several decades.
