The latest offering in our series of direct trade coffees, this incredibly delicious bag of beans hails from Hacienda Monte Alto, a farm in the Valle Central region of Costa Rica run by Milton Sánchez Marin. The farm has been in Milton’s family for over 100 years, and the depth of experience shines through brilliantly in the finished product. Grown at 1350 meters, these beans undergo natural fermentation for 24 hours upon harvest before they’re washed and moved to raised drying beds. The result is a beautiful, bright flavor profile replete with nougat, tropical fruit, almonds, and citrus. It’s virtually impossible to have a bad morning with a cup of this liquid radness in your hand.
