This is Jacky's "Grand Cru," if you will. This is picked from vines which are planted mid slope where the top soil is thin and the vine's roots hit the limestone almost immediately. In a really good year he might harvest 20 hectoliters per hectare - that is not a lot! The wine spends roughly 18 months in barrique (50% used/50% used) and is typically the last wine of the vintage to be bottled.
