This superb Pernand-Vergelesses wine won't be bottled until March or April, according to Rossignol, who noted that this cuvée does best in hot years like 2015, as it has a tendency toward strictness.(ST)
The red, iron-rich soils of Les Fichots have produced a wine bursting with wild red and black fruit, mingling with notes of roast venison and forest floor. On the palate, the wine is powerful, framed by taut tannins with nice balance and energy. Tight-knit out of the blocks, but will blossom with cellarage.Drinking Window 2018 - 2040.(WK)
