The “Les Rochettes” is produced from the gravelly and sandy soils sitting over the limestone bench that makes Bourgueil special. The nose of strawberry and red currants is fresh and intense and hints of lavender and rosemary remind you of the character of the region. This is a perfect sipper for bruschetta or creamy goat cheese with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, or a salad of greens, strawberries, almonds and Manchego cheese.
