Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Odette Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 93JS, 93VN, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate exhibits graphite, blackberry and cassis, chocolate and a touch of mineral in a full-bodied, layered and impressively pure style. It’s a big wine for Stags Leap (15.4% alcohol), but gorgeously pure, with everything well-knit into a sensational equilibrium. This is only a baby, but promises to hit its peak in 7-10 years and last 25-30. (RP) 95+" (12/2015)

So much stone, dried mushroom, wet earth, forest flower and light prune aromas follow through to a rich palate. Full, firm and intense.
Odette's 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is dark, plump and juicy. Black cherry, plum, spice, mint and licorice meld together in an expressive, layered Cabernet Sauvignon. The style is forward, open-knit and succulent, with considerable near and medium term appeal. A host of sweet red cherry, plum, hard candy and lavender meld into the finish. The Estate should drink well with minimal cellaring. (AG)
A toasty, charry oak presence dominates here, overlaying the subtle fruit and floral nuances as well as the core of dark berry and mocha. A big wine. (JL)
