Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 1992 Andre Brunel "Les Cailloux - Selection Reflets" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (92RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1992 (remember, the cuvée I am describing is the one sold to the American importer) represents 850 cases of Brunel's oldest vines aged in 15-20% new oak. The wine is one of the superstars of what is an average to slightly above average vintage. It reveals an impressively saturated dark ruby/purple color, a profound, sweet, exotic nose of black raspberries, spices, and sweet vanillin. Full-bodied, dense, and concentrated, with gobs of glycerin, extract, and high alcohol, this decadently styled Chateauneuf du Pape should be drunk over the next 10 years. (RP)" (12/1996)
