The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon from Pride comes from close to equal parts Napa and Sonoma and checks in as 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Petit Verdot and the balance Merlot. Blackcurrants, smoked earth, chocolate, and tobacco leaf notes all flow to a medium to full-bodied, rounded, nicely concentrated Cabernet Sauvignon that has tons of fruit and texture, yet stays balanced. It has just a hint of oak but is already charming and delicious. Drink it over the coming 10-15 years.

The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon is a super-classic Pride wine. Rich, powerful and voluptuous, the 2014 offers notable density in a forward, fruity style that can be enjoyed young. Even so, the 2014 has more than enough structure to develop positively for at least a handful of years. Black cherry, plum, mocha, spice and new leather infuse this dark, voluptuous Cabernet. The sensation of stress through drought is evident, but not overpowering. (AG)
Blended with 8% Merlot and 4% Petit Verdot, this is a full-bodied wine, no doubt, with inviting waves of dark cherry, cassis and milk chocolate. Well structured, it retains underlying acidity that helps balance out the ripeness and power of the fruit. (VB)
Well-built, with firm tannins framing a core of dark berry, cedar, sage and tobacco leaf flavors. Enjoyable now but will likely improve in a year or two. (JL)
The 2014 Cabernet Franc, which sees 18 months in 40% new French oak, is actually a blend of 80.5% Cabernet Franc, and the rest Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Deep opaque purple in color, with notes of spring flowers, black raspberries and blueberries, the wine hits the palate with more florest floor and floral notes, a continuation of the blue and red fruit flavor spectrum, some nice spice, and finely tuned sweet tannin. This medium to full-bodied beauty should drink nicely for 10-15+ years. (RP)
This wine is well made, structured and built to age. A wealth of baked plum meets clove, leather and mouth-coating tannin weight, as a full-bodied concentration of meaty texture provides heft and depth. (VB)

Blackberries, black raspberries, scorched earth, wet rock and coffee notes all emerge from the 2014 Cabernet Franc. A blend of 80% Cabernet Franc, 11% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Merlot, aged in 40% new French oak, it’s medium to full-bodied, firm, fresh and focused on the palate, with building tannin. Give bottles 2-3 years and drink over the following decade. 92+
