Bid on this bottle of 1993 La Bastide Blanche "Cuvée Fontanieu" Bandol (95RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1993 Bandol Cuvee Fontanieu (made from a 5-acre parcel of vines planted in red clay soils on a cliff overlooking the Mediterranean) was bottled unfined and unfiltered. The knock-out bouquet must be sniffed to be believed. Among many different elements in the wine's multi-dimensional aromatic profile are scents of roasted herbs, over-ripe tomatoes, grilled sausages, tobacco, and gobs of blackcurrant and raspberry fruit.
