Bright, deep red. Deep aromas of raspberry, redcurrant, smoke and meat. Rich, layered and deep, with dense, chewy flavors of black cherry, licorice and menthol. Strongly mineral finish features big, mouthdusting tannins and late notes of leather and game. An impressive '98.
